Disruptive Bunch - Five minutes with Rob McCammon

BW from OK Labs: Hi Rob
RM: Hi

BW:  Are you excited about your pecha kucha presentation?
RM: machu picchu?
BW: no pecha kucha
RM: Pikachu?

Yes, we are really excited about our disruption zone presentation using the pecha kucha style at Embedded Systems Conference (ESC).

BW: What is the disruption zone?
RM: Companies with disruptive technologies are allowed to exhibit in the disruption zone.

BW: I know we are a disruptive bunch, but what about our disruptive technologies made them choose us.
RM: They choose us for two reasons
            1.    Primarily they are interested in L4.verified. This will be the only formally verified microkernel – a pretty big deal.
            2.     Our relationship with NICTA is disruptive because we have an innovative synergistic relationship with a leading research institute.

BW: Well that sounds cool. What else is going on at ESC?
RM: You’re planning it . . .
BW: Well, we have a booth in the disruption zone so we will be hanging out there Tuesday through Thursday. On Tuesday (April 15th) night at 7pm we are hosting a meet-up at Gordon Biersch.
RM: So, we’re taking the microkernel to the microbrewery   wink
