Open Kernel Labs Technical Director, Abi Nourai, will be presenting “How Secure is Your Embedded Design?” under the track “Developing for System and Software Security” at the Embedded Systems Show in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Nourai's presentation, which targeted at embedded system developers, will discuss the concern over newly-emerging threats to embedded system security, with particular reference to intelligent mobile device security and smartphones.
Nourai will discuss the architectural approach of implementing “segregated capabilities” to provide an additional line of defense and how an open source software environment can be as secure as a proprietary system.
