Recruits Grant Cushny and Carl Nerup to Drive New Business and Services
Chicago – November 30, 2010 - Open Kernel Labs (OK Labs), the leading provider of embedded virtualization software for mobile phones and broadband Internet devices, today announced the appointment of two new senior executives – Carl Nerup as Vice President of Business Development and Grant Cushny for Director of Professional Services. Both bring high profile telecommunications industry backgrounds to these new roles at OK Labs, further enhancing the company’s ability to engage the mobile/wireless ecosystem.
Key Facts
Carl Nerup, VP Business Development, arrives with more than two decades of leadership in mobile/wireless communications, including executive and entrepreneurial roles at Quality of Life Technology Foundry (the Venture Arm for Carnegie Mellon University), Telx and AT&T. Carl’s background lets him navigate the mobile/ wireless ecosystem to nurture opportunities for mobile virtualization with mobile operators and in corporate IT, especially to serve emerging requirements for enterprise mobility.
Grant Cushny, Director Professional Services, boasts 23 years of high impact experience in telecommunications services, engineering and marketing, including leadership roles at Tollgrade Communications and Teradyne. By focusing on growing integration and customization services, Grant will smooth the path to deployment for OK Labs mobile virtualization solutions in enterprise, government and consumer applications.
