CHICAGO AND SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA -May 31, 2007 — Open Kernel Labs (OK), a global provider of operating systems and virtualization technology today announces winning a 2007 iAward from the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). OK’s OKL4 embedded operating system and virtual-machine monitor won the Applications and Infrastructure Tools award. OK was also a finalist in the Communications Applications section. Presented by AIIA, the Australian Financial Review and the CSIRO ICT Centre, the iAwards recognize the best Australian information and communications technology innovations each year. A VIP panel representing industry, government, media, research and educational institutions select the winners. As an AIIA award winner, OK will be one of three Australian representatives at the prestigious Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) program in Singapore in November of 2007.
